Sarah Belisle LAc, MAc, PHd

Sarah Belisle is Board Certified Acupuncturist with a Masters in Acupuncture from Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine. Sarah enjoys working with patients to help them achieve their health goals and enjoy a better quality of life.

Sarah’s interest in health began while she was in college at Tufts University. She became involved in research and received her PhD in Nutrition at Tufts before going on to study viruses at the University of Washington.  Although she is enthusiastic about science and research, during this time she realized that she wanted to work hands-on with people. Sarah had seen the role that acupuncture could have in safely addressing difficult conditions and was drawn to its emphasis on seeing the whole patient rather than the condition. Sarah made the decision to go back to school to study acupuncture and hasn’t looked back.

Sarah is excited to help clients as a member of the Rocky Coast Integrated Medicine team. She specializes in the treatment of chronic pain, orthopedics (including dry needling), depression, anxiety and reproductive health

As someone who enjoys exercising and appreciates its role in overall wellbeing, Sarah enjoys helping athletes (of all ages and levels) to help support their goals. She uses her training in acupuncture, dry needling and manual therapy when working with athletes to help prevent and recover from injury, and support performance.

In addition, Sarah has a passion for working with clients with cancer. Unfortunately, cancer is something that has impacted most people either directly or indirectly. Sarah uses acupuncture to help clients address the unique emotional and physical challenges that accompany cancer diagnosis and treatment. Acupuncture can be helpful for addressing nausea, pain, hot flashes, anxiety, and many other issues that occur during and after cancer treatment.
